Auditor general concerned with emergency plans

Auditor General Sheila Fraser argued that Public Safety Canada, whom was given the responsibility to coordinate with other departments in the federal government failed to procure a federal emergency plan. Fraser has stated that Public Safety Canada is not fullfilling their responsibility in working with other departments to establish a federal emergency response to crises such as the H1N1 flu virus, and is not exercising the degree of leadership that their agency was charged with.
