Opposition Rails Against Premier’s Pan Am Trip

This article addresses the pressures and concerns the opposition parties have towards premier Dalton McGuinty choosing to continue to take his trip to Mexico in support of the 2015 Pan Am Games, rather than staying in Canada to address the H1N1 vaccine. The opposition parties want Dalton McGuinty to stay in the province during the crisis to show he’s taking his responsibilities as the premier seriously but McGuinty feels the delivery programs are in a better place today and has confidence that things will only get better. Although Dalton McGuinty feels this confidence, the opposition parties feel it would only make sense to cancel his trip to show his support and concern for our citizens.
