Today, Liberal provincial politician Kuldip Kular, resigned his position as parliamentary assistant to the health minister after leaving the scene of an accident last month. He was involved in an incident on October 23rd that sent a pedestrian to hospital with minor injuries. Kular is a doctor, and spoke to the pedestrian at the time of the accident, and then left. According to police, leaving the scene of an accident is not a criminal offense, but he could be facing a fine.
