Canadian advocate for marijuana Marc Emery turned himself in to Vancouver authorities on Tuesday. He is headed to Washington state to serve a five year prison sentence after pleading guilty to selling marijuana seeds by mail. Emery used the money from the seeds to fund popular marijuana magazine Cannabis Culture and even an unsuccessful political party.
As Emery stated: "I've probably run the largest-scale revolution that has had no bodies. There are no victims, no dead people, in my revolution."
Emery's last cry to the public before being led away by sheriffs was "Plant the seeds of freedom. Overgrow the government, everyone."
