Michael Ignatieff’s majestic forest
A very hot topic around Parliament Hill these days is the story behind Michael Ignatieff’s majestic forest. While there are several jokes circulating around the leafy green woods. It has been suggested that the display behind Mr. Ignatieff in recent pre-election ads has been digitally inserted. However, Ian Davey, Mr. Ignatieff’s chief of staff, is taunting the press saying it is a real forest and jokingly saying that his boss is possible sitting in Sherwood Forest made famous by Robin Hood. In an effort to find more information regarding the wooded area in which Mr. Ignatieff shoots his ads, other senior Liberal sources were asked to share what they know. Rocco Rossi, The Liberal Party’s national director did not respond to an e-mail inquisition. However, Jill Fairbrother, Mr. Ignatieff’s director of communications, has stated that the party is not revealing the whereabouts of the forest because they want people to believe it could be any forest in Canada. So the question remains, just where exactly is Michael Ignatieff?
