Liberal Party Falls In Polls

A recent poll of 2,825 Canadians reveals a falling popularity for the federal Liberal Party. When asked if an election was held tomorrow, 30.8% of respondents said they would vote for the Liberals wheres the Tories came out on top with 34.2%. Though the Tories hold the overall lead, the two parties are nearly tied in Ontario. That is no comfort for the Liberal Party, however, as they are losing popularity specifically in Ontario and Quebec, the two most populated provinces in Canada. The New Democratic Party, the Green Party and the Bloc Quebecois trailed behind the leaders with 14.8%, 10.1% and 10% respectively.
