During September 13th's meeting on Parliment Hill, Jack Layton of the NDP looks like he (and his party) might support the Conservatives now that their newest proposed legislation has come out concerning Employment Insurance reforms. An election may not happen in this case as Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff would not be able to knock the Conservatives over with a vote of no confidence. Ignatieff still remains fixed against Harper. Harper in turn accuses the Liberal party leader of trying to force an election when it is not in the parties best interest.
