Canada to hit 59 Billion Dollar Deficit

Canada's deficit will be extended by two years and will add up to more than 59 billion dollars, finance minister, Jim Flaherty, told the Canadian public today. The deficit is expected to be extended until 2015 with budgetary cutrs occurring as a result. Flaherty took time in the speech to denounce opposition leader Michael Ignatieff for attempting to force an election this fall, while expressing the need for the Canadian public to have faith in the current government.
